Terms of service
Elokuje, Business ID: 2756896-6, sells products to companies and consumers age 18 to Finland, Europe and all over the world. These delivery terms are suitable for ordering products in my online store and for similar deliveries.
These delivery terms are valid from July 1, 2022. I can change the delivery terms unilaterally from time to time, so please read the delivery terms in advance each time you order products from my online store.
Products and product prices
The features and prices of the products are presented with the product presentation. I reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs, so please check prices from the cart before you accept the order. Product prices include taxes, which appear in the shopping cart and order confirmation.
Shipping costs that may be charged for your order will depend on the country of your order and will be added to your order total. You will see the shipping costs that will be charged for your order (if shipping costs are charged) in your shopping cart before you accept the order. At the moment, delivery to Finland is free, € 4 to Europe and € 6 to the rest of the world.
Ordering and contract
You can order products on the website of my online store by transferring them to the shopping cart and confirming the order and paying for the contents of the Shopping Cart in the payment service. When ordering from my online store, you are required to read and agree to my current delivery terms. You understand that your order, which you have accepted and confirmed, is binding and creates an agreement between us with these terms of delivery, except as set forth below in the Terms of Right of Cancellation.
Payment and payment methods
You can pay for your order using the payment methods described in the online store and available in the shopping cart.
Payment service provider
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) cooperates with Finnish banks and credit institutions as the payment service provider. Paytrail Oyj appears as the payee on the bank statement or card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail plc is licensed as a payment institution. In the event of a complaint, please contact the supplier of the product in the first instance.

There are also international payment service providers, like Visa and Amex, which are operated via Stripe.
Order and payment confirmation
After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email, so please provide your email address when placing your order. The order confirmation also confirms the payment method used. If for any unexpected reason I am unable to confirm your order I will notify you by email as soon as possible.
Method of delivery
I will deliver your order using one of the delivery methods mentioned on my home page, which you choose in connection with your order. At the moment, the delivery method is a letter sent to Finland and the rest of the world or picked up from Tuira in Oulu. An ordinary letter does not contain a shipment ID, so its delivery progress cannot be tracked. I will post the order to Europe and other countries as a Priority Letter, which also has no follow-up.
I try to deliver the order to the post office as soon as possible, ie 1-2 days from the order. The Finnish National Post promises to deliver letters to Finland in 2-4 working days, to the EU area in 3-4 days and to other countries in 4 - 7 business days. If the ordered product is a custom design or the product is not in stock and I make it first, the delivery time will be longer. I will report this separately.
Right of cancellation and return policy
If you are a consumer, you have the right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act to cancel your order by notifying us no later than 14 days after receiving the goods or the last batch of goods or, in the case of regular delivery, the first batch of goods.
The cancellation notice must be made clearly by sending a message to my email below or by providing a written notice with the returned goods.
The right of cancellation only applies to unused products and, accordingly, returned products must be in their original packaging and well packaged for return.
If the transaction is canceled, the goods must be returned to our Return Address below without delay and no later than 14 days after the cancellation notice. If necessary, the returner must prove that the goods have been returned on time, for example with a return receipt. The returner must pay the cost of the return. These costs will not be reimbursed to the returner.
When returning a delivered order, include your name and contact information and account number for a refund.
Similarly, I will refund the money you paid for the order without delay in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

Transmission check, error and problem situations
Please check delivery immediately upon receipt. If the product is lost or damaged during transport or otherwise does not match your order or is defective, please notify me as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days and we will agree on how we can rectify the defect. In consumer trade, we comply with the mandatory liability provisions of the Consumer Protection Act for errors.
If there is a clear defect in the product, Elokuje will repair the product free of charge within a reasonable time. Elokuje is not liable for damage caused by normal wear and tear or misuse. You can still read instructions about the products on the Jewelry Info page.

Limitation of Liability
Elokuje shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential or other damages arising out of the order, delivery or product or for any of the foregoing, except as otherwise required by a mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law in respect of such damages. Elokuje is also not responsible for Posti's delayed deliveries.
We will endeavor to settle any disputes regarding your order primarily by agreement, so please contact me first to arrange the matter.
If the dispute concerning the sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advice of the Local Register Office (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
