Morrígan - raven earrings, Celtic Collection
Morrígan - raven earrings, Celtic Collection
Power, transformation, and Irish mythology.
Morrígan earrings are inspired by Ireland’s ancient stories, the Tuatha Dé Danann, and the mysterious goddess Morrígan. Morrígan is particularly associated with themes of fate, transformation, and power, as well as ravens and crows.
The striking raven on the earrings is made from Finnish birch plywood. The colorful feathers moving beneath it are made from leftover reindeer leather, giving the material a new life as part of the jewelry.
The combination of deep black, glowing orange, and purple makes these earrings bold and slightly mysterious - just like their source of inspiration.
Materials: Finnish birch plywood, leftover Finnish reindeer leather, and stainless steel for the jewelry components
Color: raven: black, orange-red, and lilac; tail feathers lilac-black / orange-black
Size: Birch plywood piece height: approx. 55 mm + leather feathers
Made in Oulu at Elokuje’s workshop.
