Finnish birch plywood northern lights necklace – Loimu | Aurora by Elokuje

Now the Loimu aurora borealis earrings have been accompanied by a necklace that also shines with all the beautiful colors of the auroras, down to the reindeer leather fringes. 

The pendant hanging from the steel ball chain is made of domestic birch plywood, which is a lightweight yet sturdy material. The lower part of the jewelry is accented by 3 soft, same-colored double-sided fringes from domestic surplus reindeer leather. 

The leather color options are green, dark blue, purple, or fuchsia. In the fuchsia version, the middle fringe is shiny fuchsia.

• The best way to store it is to let the jewelry hang so that the fringes do not get twisted. A bent fringe can be gently straightened with your fingers and allowed to rest straight for a moment, for example, between the pages of a book or on a flat surface. You can also use the warmth of your fingers to soften the leather.
